About Us
To fulfill our dream in owning a dairy farm, we realized the best move would be to immigrate to Alberta. Having Cees join us was our Lucky ticket, and this is where our farm name comes from.
In 1997 we immigrated from the Netherlands where we both grew up on a dairy farm. Willem's dad sold the farm. We started our own farm that is located 10 km West and 3.5 km South of Lacombe in Sunny Central Alberta. We milk around 270 cows, both B&W and R&W Holsteins. The forage is cultivated on 1000 acres. Corn, alfalfa and canola are our main crops.
You can imagine there is never a dull moment at Lucky Hill!
